WiHi Football Improve To 2-0, Down Snow Hill
Salisbury, MD – Wicomico High School improved their record to 2-0 on the year after defeating Snow Hill 57-12. The Eagles jumped out of the gates quickly in this one, grabbing a 6-0 lead that they would hold throughout the first quarter looking to pull off the upset. The defense for the Eagles was flying around the field, and keeping the Indians good running back core in check.
But the Indians eventually broke though in the second quarter when Jordan Brittingham found some space off the let edge, and would turn it up field for the score. Wi-Hi would begin to take control from there, as after a fumble recovery, they would take the lead with Trevell Jones would take one in for an easy score. The offense continued to roll from there as the Eagles hung tough but weren't able to make enough plays down the stretch.
The Indians are back in action next Saturday when they host Kent Island, while Snow Hill travels to play Arcadia High School on Friday as well.
