Wesley Field Hockey Falls To Delaware Valley 1-0

DOVER, Del. –
The Wesley College women's field hockey team fell to the Delaware Valley Aggies
Thursday afternoon 1-0. The loss drops the Wolverines too to 4-1 on the
season while the Aggies improve to 2-3.

Wesley goalkeeper Sarah
Daniels kept it closes, recording five saves in the second half. With no goals
scored, the game moved into extra time. Both teams had good opportunities in
the first overtime but neither could not capitalize and the game would proceed
into a second overtime period.

The Wolverines had their shot at it first, but a missed shot would lead to a fast break for the Aggies, and they would send one home for the win.

The Wolverines return to the pitch on Saturday,
September 13 at 1:00 PM for a home game against Richard Stockton
