Sussex Central Boys Soccer Takes Down Delmar

Georgetown, DE – The Sussex Central boys soccer team got their season off to a great start Monday night when they took down Delmar 5-3 at home. The Wildcats jumped out to an early lead in the first half, netting a couple goals a would hold a 2-1 lead most of the half. Stanley Anderson would then score on a break away for the Golden Knights to tie up the match at 2-2 head to half.

To open the second half, Anderson would again go to work, scoring on another fast break to give his team the lead. Sussex Central would then get another goal to push their lead to 2 before the Wildcats got one back when Kheyonne Taylor would fire one home. But Anderson wasn't going to let this one slip away as he would finish his hat trick to put it on ice.

The Golden Knights are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Laurel, while the Wildcats play next Thursday when they host Sussex Tech.
