SU Field Hockey Remain Perfect, Down Hendrix 10-0

Salisbury, MD – The No. 2 Salisbury University field hockey team remained undefeated on the year with a dominating 10-0 win vs. Hendrix. The Sea Gulls scored early and often to quickly put the game away, in a match where the heat played a serious factor.

SU got on the board just 2 minutes and 45 seconds into the game when Summer Washburn scored an unassisted goal. Becca Rinaca then extended that lead 6 minutes later after she took the feed from Courtney Jantzen and finished it off. Then Karen Cindea took over for the Sea Gulls. She would either score or assist on 4 of Salisbury's next 6 goals as they built up a 8-0 lead at the 44:52 minute.

The Sea Gulls would tack on another two late goals to put this one away, as they ended up taking it 10-0. SU is back in action on Sunday when they host Va. Wesleyan at 1:30.
