Seaford Boys Soccer Pull Out OT Win Vs. Smyrna

Seaford, DE – The Seaford boys soccer team pulled out a gusty 1-0 win in overtime Thursday night against a good Smyrna team. Both squads came up with several tremendous individual defensive plays to keep the game knotted at 0-0 til overtime.

In the 1st half, the Blue Jays were on the attack early and often, with several scoring opportunities created from Louis Guerrier and Antonio Ambrosino, but neither were able to find the back of the net. Meanwhile, Chris Hernandez anchored the defense coming up with several incredible saves, including a few one handed lunges to keep Smyrna out of the net. They would head to overtime where eventually Seaford would break through, and take the win.

The Blue Jays are back in action Monday when they host Indian River.
