Queen Anne’s Boys Soccer Outlasts North Dorchester

Centreville, MD.- “It wasn't pretty, but we got it done.” Queen Anne's High School Head Soccer Coach Wade Hosler was adamant that although it was ugly, The Lions 1-0 win against Bayside foe North Dorchester, was enough.

The Lions wore gold trim wristbands, as the JV team sported road gold unis at home, all for their game dedicated to fighters of children's cancer. In the 74th minute, Sophomore Midfielder Noah Shade made a beautiful cross into the box, where Alec Wachter buried a beautiful header into the back of the net.

Both teams are back in action on Monday, September 29th. North Dorchester takes on the Bulldogs of North Caroline, while Queen Anne's takes on their rival Kent Island.
