Pocomoke Field Hockey Dominates Opener, Rolls Decatur

Pocomoke City, MD.- The Pocomoke Warriors field hockey team got their first win at home when they shutout the Stephen Decatur Seahawks 9-0.

Pocomoke scored their first goal at the 27:02 mark when Lexi Butler took a pass from Kasey Lee and buried it into the back of the box. Pocomoke would get goals 2 goals from Butler, two from Carly Adams, and one from Peyton Becker before the half was over, standing with a 5-0 lead at the half.

The Warriors would pour it on in the second half, adding four more goals. Adams would end up having a hat-trick before exiting the game. Pocomoke plays Washington on Thursday.
