Parkside Girls Soccer Roll Past WiHi

Salisbury, MD – The Parkside girls soccer team continued their perfect start to the season improving their record to 3-0 with a commanding 9-0 win vs. Wicomico High School. The Rams jumped out to an early lead, netting 4 goals in the games first 7 games.

After the rough start, Anna Waggoner responded for the Indians, coming up with several impressive saves to keep her team in it. The Rams just kept coming though, and Blair Vilov's goal late in the first half pushed the lead to 5-0.

The second half the Rams continued to attack, as Vilov scored the final of her 5 goals to open the half to push the lead to 6-0. Minutes later, Emily Davis would find the back of the net, followed by the best goal of the day by Julie Venere who volleyed in a lose ball from the top of the box into the top right corner of the goal.

The Rams are back in action on Thursday when they host Snow Hill, while Wicomico host Stephen Decatur on Thursday.
