Kent Island Spoils Washington’s Home Opener

Princess Anne, MD.- The Kent Island Buccaneers made the hour and a half trip to Washington High School in Princess Anne, but the game would be decided much faster than that.

The Bucs struck early and often, holding a 27-0 lead at halftime. The Jags would keep fighting in the second half, but the Bucs would hold them of for a final of 40-7. K.I. got key contributions from quarterback Zach Smith, running backs Stone Boone and Zach Goodrich, and safety Mike Quinn.
