Easton Volleyball Falls To Pallotti

Easton, MD – The Easton volleyball team fell to 0-3 on the year Saturday afternoon after losing to Pallotti 3-1. This was the first time in several years that the Warriors had a home game on a Saturday against a private school from across the bridge.

In the first set, Easton was playing some inspired ball and grabbed an earl lead after tough serving from both Sydney Butler and Megan Andrew. With the Warriors leading 18-16, the Panthers would buckle down and close out the first set on a 9-4 run to take it 25-22. That momentum carried over into the second set where Pallotti would be dominate, taking it 22-15.

But just when it appeared as though the Panthers would leave Easton on a 3 set sweep, the Warriors showed their fight. They began to stay in system much more, finding their outside hitters and attacked the Panthers defense rather than wait for them to make mistakes. Pallotti appeared to be rattled and frustrated as the Warriors control Set 3, 25-13. The panthers would rebound in Set 4 though to close it out.
