Bennett Volleyball Downs Stephen Decatur, Improve To 5-0

Salisbury, MD – The James M. Bennett volleyball team kept their perfect start to the season going Thursday afternoon after they took down Stephen Decatur 3-1. The win improves the Clippers to 5-0 on the year while the loss drops the Seahawks to 1-3.

In Set 1, the teams would exchange point as both squads looked to grab an early edge. With the teams square at 7-7, Bennett would seize control as they rattled off a 18-4 run to close out the set. The Clippers were just as impressive in Set 2, before the Seahawks battled back to take Set 3 25-22. Bennett would bounce back though to close it out in four.

Madison Brock lead the Clippers finishing with 12 service points off 6 aces and 4 kills. Bennett is back in action on Tuesday when they play at Wicomico High School while the Seahawks return to the court Tuesday when they play at North Dorchester.
