**UPDATE** – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office tells 47 ABC that Derek White, fugitive #6 on Wicomico’s 10 Most Wanted list, was arrested on Tuesday, by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Your tips can help arrest “Wicomico’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives”, and apparently now is a great time to help track them down. While you’re out having fun in the sun, so are criminals.

Which is why Lieutenant Tim Robinson with the Wicomico Co. Sheriff’s Office says now is the perfect time to keep an eye open for wanted suspects. “With the warmer weather, more people are out,” explains Lt. Robinson. “More people are out visiting and more people have more of an occasion to come across these individuals…or maybe have seen somebody at a BBQ…may have seen somebody at a family gathering. Knowing where someone hangs out can be hugely beneficial to us here.”

No matter where you spot a wanted suspect on Delmarva, calling in an anonymous tip can not only makes streets safer, but it can also score you a cash reward if your hot tip leads to an arrest.
