Salisbury Police initially announced via Twitter that they are asking for help to identify a bank robber.

Police say the robbery happened on Monday afternoon at First Shore Federal Bank on Mount Herman Road around 1PM.

Officers of the Salisbury Police Department responded to the bank, and bank employees said that an un-armed, un-masked suspect had come in, showed them a note, and demanded money.

According to the report, further investigation revealed that when he entered the bank, the note is what had the message demanding money from a bank employee.

The bank employee is said to have given the suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency.

The suspect left the bank in an unknown direction with the money, and a Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office K-9 conducted a track for the suspect, but they were unsuccessful. Detectives were able to capture the CCTV still images, above, of the suspect while he was in the bank, however.

There were no injuries reported during the incident.

The suspect is described by officials as male, medium complexion, goatee style beard, about 6’00” tall, 180 lbs., medium build, between 30-35 years of age, and was last seen wearing a dark colored “MLB” baseball hat, blue hooded sweatshirt and black shorts.

The investigation is ongoing and police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department 410-548-3113 or Crime Solvers 410-548-1776.
