ColorWalk Cards: Walk on color with new cards helping to reconnect the community

SALISBURY, Md.- A Salisbury local is trying to make a difference in the community with her new business, ColorWalk Cards.

The founder, Heather Edwards, said the idea came to her a few months ago.

She said in the pack of 49 cards there are different colors that draw you into a color safari.

You then pick a color  and that color determines your path.

You go to the items that you see that match your color.

She said the cards sharpens observation skills, helps improve memory, and motivates people to get outside.

Edwards added now more than ever reconnecting with people and filling the education gap is crucial and she said ColorWalk Cards can help.

“I do think it is filling a need because we do need to get outside more, especially with the pandemic,” Edwards said.

“It makes my heart sing because we’ve seen a lot of interest from educators and teachers across the country ordering packs already for next school year or for kids that are still being home schooled,” Edwards said.

Edwards said she’ll be hosting an event with the cards on July 16th, as part of Third Friday in Salisbury.

We’re told it’ll be a Free Community Photo Scavenger Hunt.
