Maryland Politicians Campaign at Annual Crab and Clam Bake

Today was the 41st annual J-Millard-Tawes Crab and Clam Bake.

It is an all-you-can-eat festival that attracts hundreds of seafood lovers to eat at the local marina.

State politicians come to eat and mingle with the people they represent in Annapolis and Washington D-C.

Governor Larry Hogan was among the state representatives who made an appearance at Tawes today.

In addition to enjoying the atmosphere – the Governor talked about healthcare.

Hogan has joined a bipartisan effort to oppose the proposal to repeal — the Affordable Care Act.

So far — *11* governors including Terry McAuliffe of Virginia have also become a part of the movement.

The lawmakers say the focus should now shift to stabilizing insurance markets instead of repealing the

A-C-A.

Hogan says too many people would be jeopardized if the law is completely taken off the books.

It was a busy day today – and I'm not talking about for us here at 47 ABC – I'm talking about the City of Crisfield.
