Salisbury organization raising awareness for opioid addiction through informational classes

A local nonprofit organization in Salisbury is hoping to raise awareness of the dangers of opiates.
LifeMark is offering two, six-week informational classes to the community.
The first class will target adults who want to learn about addiction and how to help their loved ones if they are in this dilemma.
The second class will target high school students and focus on education, prevention, and how to make better choices.
Each class will consist of six, one-hour sessions.
LifeMark tells us that the opioid epidemic is something that effects everyone and one LifeMark therapist, Siena Mills, tells us that there is a commonality among recovering addicts.
Mill says, "Her experience in the addictions I've seen that people who get better have family involvement. They have family that understand what's addiction. How is that a person is able to lie to me, the person that I love? How can they lie to easily? What's really going on?"
The high school class begins February 21, 2017 from 4:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. and the adult class begins February 2, 2017 from 7-8 p.m.
