CHANNELLOCK® : Trade School Makeover at Worcester Tech High School @ Worcester Tech High School | Worcester | Massachusetts | United States

As first place winners of the first annual Trade School Trade Up Competition, Worcester Tech High School’s welding department will receive a $5,000 cash prize and CHANNELLOCK® tools for all team members and their class. They will also be presented with a full classroom makeover with CHANNELLOCK BLUE® paint and fat heads. The second-place winner, Impact Institute, will receive a $2,500 cash prize and CHANNELLOCK® tools for all team members and their class.

Worcester Tech’s CHANNELLOCK® classroom makeover reveal will take place Jan. 29, 2019. Jon and Ryan DeArment, fifth generation Channellock, Inc. family owners and operators of the company, will be in attendance to unveil the CHANNELLOCK® branded classroom renovation for the Worcester welding students.

This event is open to parents and the public at 1:00 PM

“Sharpen Your Computer Skills” class @ Community Resource Center

The Community Resource Center will host a 7-week basic computer skills class presented by the Rehoboth Beach Library, beginning on January 31st. The program, entitled “Sharpen Your Computer Skills” will take place on Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Community Resource Center in Rehoboth Beach. The classes will be instructed by Tyler Antoine, Program Librarian, and Ann Ameigh, CRC Job Center Coordinator. Those attending will learn basic keyboarding, email, and how to use Google, Microsoft Word, and USB devices. The class is free, but those interested must register in advance by calling 302-227-1340. Refreshments will be provided.
