Cancer doesn’t just affect the diagnosed person, it affects the whole family and everyone that supports them. Please join Louise White, LCSW, as she addresses the issues surrounding the important role of caregiver. Louise will help you make sense of the turmoil and learn practical ways of coping. A weekly support group is offered on Thursdays at 1 p.m. Please call 302-645-9150 to register and receive further information. All programs are offered free of charge to those with cancer and their loved ones.
3rd Friday is a free monthly art & entertainment street festival in Downtown Salisbury – local artists, crafters and non-profits, live music, gallery shows and more. July’s theme is Moon Walk!
Angola By the Bay 44th annual Craft Show on Saturday July 20, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the shaded area adjacent to the Clubhouse. Last year, over 100 potters, jewelers, artists, carpenters and other craftsmen made the Craft Show a highlight of our summer season. In addition to the many crafts people who have been regulars of our show, we always welcome new vendors. Shoppers come from all over Sussex County and Delmarva. Come join us and find unique, handcrafted treasures. Refreshments are available from the Angola by the Bay Men’s Club, The Owls. Admission is free. Space rentals for craftspeople are $40 each. The Sea Gals Group has been in existence since 1975. We contribute proceeds from our yard sale, the Mah-Jongg tournament and Craft Show to many local charities, fund a scholarship and projects within the ABTB community. Come join us for our 1st Annual Christmas in July Craft Show! It will take place on July 20, 2019 from 9am – 3pm at the Preston Volunteer Fire Company. This event will benefit the BEARS THAT CARE MID SHORE TOY DRIVE. Food will be available for purchase on site and a variety of Direct Sales Consultants as well as homemade crafts will be available for purchase. We will also be hosting a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Come enjoy a family-friendly environment that helps a great cause and you can even get some early Christmas shopping done too!

** Vendors are not allowed to pack up prior to 3pm without prior authorization. If a vendor is found packing up early, they will not be allowed to return next year.

Join a different artist every 3rd Saturday for this family art program that is fun for all ages. Families can drop-in to make and take a fun art creation. All children should be accompanied by an adult. Funded by the Susan K. Black Foundation.

Join us for an evening of music and fellowship, as we showcase some of the areas wonderful musicians and talented youth. Proceeds from this event will help us with necessary renovations to the Sunday School room which will allow us to grow our youth programs. Refreshments will be available. Admission: freewill donation. Featuring Delmarva Christian High School Praise Band, Tony Windsor, DTC Praise Band, and Youth Talent Showcase.
The Bishopville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will be holding a Crab Cake Platter Dinner at the Main Station 11 am-1 pm. $12 for 1 crab cake on a roll, coleslaw, bag of chips, 1 beverage (water/soda).
