Hello Delmarva! I’m Rob Petree, your weeknight co-anchor and reporter. For almost a decade, I have dedicated my life to fighting for the truth through hyper-local broadcast journalism. As a graduate of the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, fresh out of Chesapeake Senior High School in Pasadena, Maryland, I was bound and determined to make a difference and break into the news business. Luckily, I was able to get my start right here on Delmarva in Delaware! As a statewide news reporter for WDEL and Delaware 105.9 news radio, I was able to break exclusive stories in the market. After three years reporting and anchoring on local radio, I made the exciting transition to television where I continue to fight for the truth and to hold all accountable.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to country music, I’m a huge fan of Dolly Parton, and I live and breath WWE. I am so excited to be a part of the 47 ABC team and I vow to always put the people first in all of my reporting.
