Salisbury man arrested for rape
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man is behind bars on rape charges.
The investigation began on February 24th, when it was reported that a subject had been raped in September 2022. It was determined that the rape took place in the 300 block of Penn Street, and a suspect was identified as 52-year-old Jose Perez-Santana.
On March 21st, a search and seizure warrant was authorized for the residence, leading to the recovery of evidence. An arrest warrant was obtained for Perez-Santana, who was arrested the following day.
Santana is being held without bond after being charged with first and second degree rape, third degree sex offense, two counts of fourth degree sex offense, second degree assault, stalking, false imprisonment, and dangerous weapon conceal.
