Nanticoke collecting thank you cards for local police officers
SEAFORD, Del – There may be no better way to say thank you then with a card, and thanks to Nanticoke Health Services you can now thank a police officer for their services as part of national thank a police officer day coming up. Recently the health care provider announced that they will be accepting thank you cards from community members to give to police officers across the first state. Those thank you notes will be collected from now until September 10th.
Officials say you can bring your own card or use the blank notecards and pens that will be provided at any of the Nanticoke Health services locations in Delaware.
“We work closely with them every day, every week of the year, and just like they are we are a 24/7 service entity taking care of our community so we are excited for this opportunity to be able to show them our appreciation,” said Vice President of Nursing at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital Lori Lee.
Those thank you cards will be going out to multiple law enforcement agencies that serve the area in Delaware including Georgetown, Delmar and Bridgeville. For more information click here: http://www.nanticoke.org/givethanks/
