Two arrested in connection with drug investigation in Dover
Two people are facing several charges after police say they were arrested in connection with a Delaware drug investigation.
The Dover Police Department says on Wednesday, just after 6:00 AM, the department's Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit and the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit concluded a lengthy drug investigation after a search warrant was executed in the 900 block of Simon Circle. During the search, police say they located 47.7 grams of marijuana, packaging materials, cash, and a shotgun in the home.
According to the report, 26-year-old Maurice Butler and 18-year-old Mary Honey were arrested. Authorities say Butler was also wanted by the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit on separate charges.
Both butler and Honey were charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of firearm during commission of felony, drug paraphernalia, conspiracy 2nd degree, and local fugitive.
