Police: Man wanted in connection with Del. assault

Authorities are seeking the public's help in locating a man after police say he is wanted for assaulting a woman in Milton.

The Milton Police Department says on June 29, around 7:38 PM, officers responded to the Royal Park Apartments, on Palmer Street, for a report of a woman being assaulted. Once on scene, police say they encountered a woman who reported that she was punched in the face by 29-year-old Tevon Savage. Police say the victim sustained visible injuries of swelling and bruising to the left side of her face. Savage reportedly fled the scene before police arrived.

Law enforcement reports that Savage is wanted in connection with the incident and he also goes by the alias Angel Snead.

According to the report, Savage is currently on probation and he is wanted by the Milton Police Department for assault third degree, disorderly conduct, and endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities say he is also wanted by Delaware State Police failure to re-register as a tier II sex offender, the Sussex County Superior Court for weapons possession, along with active capiases for traffic offenses from the Sussex County Family Court, and Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.
