Woman charged in connection to Pittsville domestic assault incident
A North Carolina woman was arrested after police say she was involved in a domestic assault, in Pittsville.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says on Saturday, deputies were dispatched to to the 35000 block of Mt. Herman Road for a domestic assault. Once on scene, deputies say they found 48-year-old Cathleen Wildermuth arguing with the victim while they were inside of a vehicle.
According to the report, Wildermuth, of Boomer, NC, assaulted the victim, leaving minor injuries.
Wildermuth was arrested and taken to Central Booking where she was held on $10,000 bail.
She was charged with second degree assault.
