UPDATE: Homicide investigation, neighbors react

Police have identified the name of the 29-year-old victim who was shot multiple times Wednesday night in Salisbury.

Maryland State Police have identified the victim from Fruitland as Shawn Goslee Johnson.

Investigators say the shooting took place in the 600 block of Priscilla Street around 7:30 p.m.

No information about the person or people involved has been released and no arrests have been made.

Some witnesses said they thought police arrived because of reckless driving.

"I was walking up Priscilla Street and I saw all the flashing lights, police lights, and I thought it was a pull over very close to where I seemed to be," said John Shirlaw, a local resident.

This case remains under investigation by the M-S-P Homicide Units and the Salisbury Police Department.

Anyone with information related to this case is asked to call the MSP Salisbury Barrack at 410-749-3101.
