Passed out driver arrested with 65 bags of heroin

A Millsboro woman has been arrested after police found her behind the wheel of a parked car with 65 bags of heroin inside.

Seaford police officers arrived at a parking lot in the 22000 block of Sussex Highway Saturday morning after receiving a report of a subject passed out behind the wheel.

40-year-old Tramaine Abbott, was incoherent when officers arrived on scene. Abbott failed several field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.

Upon her arrest, officers found 65 bags of heroin and assorted items of drug paraphernalia.

Abbott was taken to the Seaford Police Department where she was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs.

Abbott was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on $9,000 unsecured bail.
