Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred Saturday night in Caroline County. Around 10:50 PM officials say troopers from the Maryland Sate Police Easton Barrack were assisting the Caroline County Sheriff's Office with locating 83-year-old Richard Boschi, of Harmony, Md. Police say Boschi suffered from dementia and had walked away from his home on Harmony Road. After receiving a call that a motorist had seen Boschi, troopers arrived to the area of Harmony and Nagel roads. Police say troopers did find Boschi standing on the line of a roadway and turned on their emergency lights. That's when officials say a car driven by 25-year-old Michale Stoner of Greensboro, Md, went to move over due to the emergency lights behind him  and struck Boshi with his car. Boschi was pronounced dead at the scene and the incident remains under investigation at this time.
