Groove City announces new festival this summer
Downtown Cambridge has announced a new summer event that already has folks in the community excited.
The inaugural Groove City Culture Fest will take place on August 18. It's described as an African-American culture event that will include family activities, musical performances and a cook-off contest.
We're told The event will take place on Pine Street between Washington and Elm streets.
"It just goes to show that Cambridge is moving forward, and they appreciate all cultures and they know that bringing all cultures together is only a benefit for the city of Cambridge," said Cambridge resident Cecil Johnson.
