DNREC hosts offshore wind workshop for public input

The Delaware's Offshore Wind Working Group is hosting public workshops to get some public input.

In August, Governor John Carney established the group and in April they created draft recommendations for the offshore wind market.

The recommendations are based on a set of questions. For example, one focuses on the factors that need to be considered before Delaware responds to a company developing offshore wind.

Now that these recommendations are finished, you have the opportunity to offer comments and concerns.

If you'd like to see those recommendations in depth, you can click here

The next public meeting will take place in June.
