Brandywine Valley SPCA gets new space for rescue & rehab center

The Brandywine Valley SPCA announced they are now the proud owners of a vacant facility in Georgetown that they will turn into a Rescue & Rehab Center, Saturday.

The auction took place this morning where the organization had the winning bid of $880,000. The 11,500 square foot facility will house additional services dogs and cats, such as cruelty survivors, disaster victims, newborns and infants both locally and around the region.

However, between renovation costs and other expenses, $700,000 is still needed to open the facility and Brandywine Valley could use your help.
