UPDATE: Authorities locate stolen vehicle sought in connection with Md. murder investigation

Troopers say they have located a vehicle that they say was stolen in connection with an ongoing Caroline County murder investigation.

On Friday, Maryland State Police say the stolen 2015 Kia Optima related to the Caroline County homicide investigation was found on Thursday morning,  in Delaware. Troopers say they were searching for the vehicle after 26-year-old Howard Lanman III, of Greensboro, was found with lying in the street with stab wounds early Thursday morning. Lanman III later apparently succumbed to his injuries.

According to authorities, 25-year-old Kevin Parker, of Greensboro, was arrested in Delaware in connection to the murder investigation. He is charged with first and second degree murder. 

This investigation is ongoing.
