Suspect sought in connection with two Del. robberies

Police are searching for a suspect after they say he was involved in two robberies at Delaware businesses, which happened within 30 minutes of each other.

The Smyrna Police Department says on February 26, around 4:23 PM, a robbery happened at the Walgreens, on Jimmy Drive. Police say a man, with his face covered in bandages, approached the cash registers and displayed a handgun, while demanding money from the employees. 

The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot after obtaining the money.

According to the authorities, the suspect is described as standing 5'10" tall and weighing approximately 200 lbs, with short hair and a beard. police say the suspect had several bandages on his face. 

Officers report that they believe that this suspect is responsible for the robbery of the Camden McDonald's approximately 30 minutes later. That robbery is being investigated by Delaware State Police Troop 3.
