Suspect arrested in connection with two Caroline Co. robberies

Nathaniel Hubbard, 29, of Hurlock

A man is in custody after deputies say he was involved in two Caroline County robberies.

The Caroline County Sheriff's Office says on Thursday, they arrested 29-year-old Nathaniel Hubbard, of Hurlock, at a Dorchester County address in connection to two Preston robberies. Deputies say Hubbard's description matched the description of a suspect, who they believe committed both robberies.

According to the report, on Thursday evening, just before 9:10 PM, Hubbard was involved with robbery at Mike's Liquor Store, on Main Street, where the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. Authorities report that the 29-year-old matched the description of the suspect responsible for Wednesday's robbery at Valero gas station, in Preston.

Information developed from multiple sources led to Hubbard's identification as the suspect, authorities say.

Hubbard was charged with robbery, burglary and theft.

He is being held at the Caroline County Detention Center.
