Homicide Investigation Underway in Salisbury

The Maryland State Police are investigating a homicide at 510 Priscilla Street in Salisbury. 

 The information was released by the agency on Saturday afternoon, but officials say the investigation began around 11:00 AM.

 According to an official report, Pierre Louis, 67, was pronounced dead at a home in the 500 block of Priscilla Street in Salisbury.

Investigators say the Salisbury Police Department made the call to state police asking that they investigate the apparent murder of Louis. A preliminary investigation revealed that one of Louis' friends made the call when the 67 year old didn't show up to church. 

 State Police officials say that Louis was found with obvious signs of trauma. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
