Dumser’s on the inlet to stay open for the summer

Dumser's Dairlyand on the boardwalk

The Dumser's on the inlet of Ocean City won't be going anywhere, at least it won't this summer

A judge has already ruled that the current tenants have stayed beyond what their lease allows, however, an appeal on the ruling is currently working it's way through the court system.

Back in the fall, the Mayor of Ocean City said he would not require the tenants to vacate the property until a formal decision is made on their appeal case.

We have learned that oral arguments in the case will now not be heard in the state's Court of Special Appeals until early November of this year, meaning that it will be business as usual for Dumser's this summer.
