Deputies: Teen charged in connection with assault, threatening incidents at high school Md.
A teen was arrested after deputies say he was involved in an assault against a teacher and making threats against a Maryland high school.
The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office says on Wednesday, a deputy arrested a 15-year-old North Dorchester High School student on the charges of second degree assault, disturbing school activities and making threats of bodily harm while in school.
According to the report, the 15-year-old male student slammed a door in the face of a teacher which struck the teacher. Deputies say the teen then proceeded to bump the teacher with his shoulder as he was leaving the room.
He was later released to his parents regarding this incident.
Authorities report that later on that day, the 15-year-old yelled out that he would be back Friday to shoot everyone. Law enforcement says a brief investigation was conducted on Thursday morning and the teen was arrested on charges of making a threat of mass violence and disturbing school activities.
The student was again ordered by juvenile authorities to be released to his parents.
