Deputies search for Accomack Co. armed robbery suspect

Deputies are searching for a man after they say he was involved in an armed robbery at an Accomack County store.

The Accomack County Sheriff's Office says on March 28, just after 11:15 PM, a deputy responded to the Corner Mart,in Painter, for a report of a robbery. Once on scene, deputies say a male suspect entered the store, armed with a firearm, and demanded money from the clerk. 

According to the report, the suspect assaulted a customer as he fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of money. The customer was apparently treated and released by Painter EMS on scene.

After further investigation, authorities say they obtained arrest warrants for 36-year-old Antonio Harmon, of Tasley, for robbery, use of a firearm during a commission of a felony, petty larceny, brandishing, and maliciously wounding, reckless handling of a firearm and possession of a saw-off shotgun.
