Deputies: Cocaine, marijuana found during search in Hurlock

A man is facing charges after deputies say cocaine and other drug paraphernalia was found during a search, in Hurlock. 

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office says on Wednesday, members of the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force executed a search and seizure warrant in the 4300 block of Russell Road. Deputies say 52-year-old Sterling Dotson Sr., the target  of the investigation, was found in a vehicle sitting in the driveway.

According to the report, the search of the individual and the residence revealed 41.2 grams of Powder Cocaine, 5.1 grams of Crack Cocaine, 17 grams of Marijuana, a Digital Scale and numerous items of paraphernalia.

Dotson was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance. 

The Dorchester Task Force was assisted by the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, Maryland State Police, Cambridge Police, Hurlock Police, Homeland Security Investigations and the Somerset County Narcotics Task Force during the investigation.
