Bike-a-thon to benefit Worcester Co. Humane on Sunday

A local fitness club is hosting a bike-a-thon to help benefit homeless animals in the area. On Sunday, March 11th from 10 – 11:30 PM, WOC Fitness on Ocean Gateway in West Ocean City will be hosting a Bike-a-Thon which will benefit the cats and dogs who call the Worcester County Humane Society home.

Officials are asking for a $10 donation, which will reserve a Star Track Bike, or a $15 donation for a Life Fitness IC6. Event goers are also asked to bring along a donation of pet food or cleaning supplies for the no kill shelter. Bring your a-game, because DJ Jeremy will be playing the best music to ride to!

There are only 14 bikes available, to reserve yours, contact Bonnie at 410-251-2459. The Worcester County Humane Society is private, nonprofit; no-kill animal shelter that currently houses nearly 150 cats and 25 dogs.  Follow the shelter on Facebook and Instagram for available pets and events.
