Wicomico Co. fire causes $50K in damages, investigation ongoing

Officials are investigating the cause of an Eden house fire, after they say it resulted in $50,000 in damages.

The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal says on Tuesday, at 2:40 PM, the Allen Fire Department responded a house fire in the 26200 block of Walnut Tree Road. Officials report that 15 firefighters worked to put out the fire in 25 minutes.

No one was injured in the incident.

Officials say the blaze started in the attic of the home and caused $50,000 in damages.

This incident remains under investigation by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
