An inmate is in custody, after officials say he climbed a fence to escape from a Delaware correctional facility.

The Delaware Department of Corrections says on Thursday, 20-year-old Arlys Dotson, also known as Louis Dotson, was taken into custody by the New Castle County Police Department. Dotson, an inmate at Plummer Community Correctional Center (PCCC) in Wilmington, was wanted after authorities say he was seen climbing the perimeter fence and continuing south on Market Street, on Wednesday. Officials say the inmate is seen on security camera footage.

The Delaware DOC reports that Dotson is being held without bail on a violation of probation at Howard R. Young Correctional Center, in Wilmington. Officials report that additional charges are pending.
