Police: Multiple items stolen in Dover home burglary; investigation ongoing

A burglary remains under investigation, after police say multiple items including televisions and a computer were stolen from a Dover home.

The Dover Police Department says on Monday, just after 8:10 PM, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of River Road for a residential burglary. Once on scene, police say the resident reported that the home was vacant from 7:55 AM until she returned at 8:10 PM. Upon her arrival, the victim reportedly found the back basement door kicked in. 

According to the report, the suspect(s) then stole two televisions, a laptop computer, an XBOX game system, cash, and clothing from the residence.  

This burglary remains under investigation by Dover PD.
