Over 100 doses of alprazolam found in Dover; two charged

Two people were arrested after police say over 100 doses of alprazolam were found in a Dover apartment.

The Dover Police Department says on Tuesday, at 6:00 AM, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Brandywine Court Apartments, on Par Haven Drive. According to the report, during the search, 19-year-old Shanaia Wright and a 17-year-old boy were found to be in possession of 119 doses of alprazolam for sale. 

Wright and the 17-year-old were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, conspiracy second degree.

Wright was then turned over to the Baylor Women's Correctional Center in default of $82,200 cash bond. The teen was released to his mother for a future court appearance.
