Officials: Students and staff safe after threat reported to Pocomoke High’s main office
Officials say that Pocomoke High School's main office received a phone threat, on Tuesday.
According to Worcester County Public Schools, the high school's office got a phone call indicating a threat, on Tuesday.
Following protocol, law enforcement was immediately made aware, and all students and staff were reportedly appropriately secured.
Working in partnership with the Worcester County Sheriff's Office and Fire Marshal's Office, the school and surrounding areas were evaluated and found safe for student dismissal at usual time. After school programs continued in a safe location within the school.
