DSP: Body found in Dover; death investigation ongoing

Troopers are investigating a man's death, after they say his body was found earlier this morning, in Dover.

Delaware State Police say on Tuesday, just before 7:30 AM, troopers were called to the 300 block of Kitts Hummock Road for a report of an unresponsive subject. Once on scene, troopers say they found a man laying on the ground.

According to the report, the man was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics and the body was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science for an autopsy that will determine the cause of death.

The victim's identity is being withheld pending the notification of his next of kin.

This incident remains under investigation by DSP and further details will be released as information becomes available.
