Multiple suspects wanted after New Year’s Eve armed robbery

Delaware State Police are asking for the public's help in finding two suspects responsible for robbing a man at gunpoint on New Year's Eve, in Bridgeville.

Officials say the incident happened at a home in the 11,000 block of Sixth Street on Sunday, December 31, 2017, around 10:05 PM.

The victim told police that two suspects approached him as he was sitting in his car, parked in a driveway. One suspect walked up to the car, opened the driver's side door and showed a gun as he demanded the victim's cell phone and wallet.

A second suspect then walked up to the victim and started patting him down, until he found the cell phone and wallet. The two suspects then fled the scene and no one was injured.

Police describe the robbers as Hispanic males, dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, 180 pounds and wearing a dark color hooded sweatshirt with the hoods covering their faces.

The getaway vehicle was described as a four door, dark colored passenger vehicle. And two other suspects were also at the scene of the crime, but they stayed in the car during the robbery.
