Wicomico Yacht Club breaks ground for new construction

Monday, the Wicomico Yacht Club in Eden, Maryland broke ground for their new clubhouse after a two alarm kitchen fire destroyed their old one back in December of 2016 and suffering an estimated total of $500,00 in damages.

According to a press release, Gillis Gilkerson a trusted contracting firm on Delmarva, has been hired to do the rebuilding.

We are told that the structure will be elevated at least six feet and sit above the flood point.

There will be a temporary club house, food truck and open dock bar during the construction process and scheduled events will take place in the fall pending completion.
