Police investigating shooting at Crisfield Housing Authority

The Crisfield Police Department is seeking information on a shooting Sunday afternoon at the Crisfield Housing Authority.

At around 12:07 PM Sunday, police received reports of a shooting at the half-circle of the Crisfield Housing Authority. Arriving on scene, officers learned that one person with a handgun was shooting at someone else before fleeing the scene prior to officers' arrival.

No one was struck by gunfire or injured in the incident, police said. Several children were playing in the area during the time of the shooting.

Crisfield Police say they have brought in additional officers to the area and increased patrols following this incident.
