RECOGNIZING OUR TEACHERS

Coordinated by 47 ABC’s Senior Media Specialist, Julie Duer, the “Teachers Who Make a Difference” annual Recognition Luncheon at Perdue Stadium was a huge hit.  Teachers who were nominated and recognized over this school year were in attendance for the 2016/2017 wrap up party.  Several of them brought their Principals along to share the spotlight and our sponsor, Accurate Optical, came to offer their congratulations.  Julie shared memories of how this project came about as a way to honor our teachers and in memory of her grandmother.  Accurate Optical has already committed to sponsor the project for the 2017/2018 academic year.
