Two arrested during traffic stop in Cambridge

Two Cambridge residents are facing charges, after Police say they were found with drugs during a traffic stop.

Cambridge Police say on Sunday, an Officer pulled over a vehicle on Pine Street, for a traffic violation. During the stop, Officers say they spoke with the driver, 48-year-old Johnny Jenkins, and his passenger, 25-year-old Tysia Wongus.

While speaking with the occupants, Police say Officers found that both Jenkins and Wongus were in possession of small amounts of cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. Jenkins and Wongus were then both arrested.

Jenkins was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, and traffic citations, before being released on a $10,000 unsecured bond. Wongus was charged with possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana, and released on her own personal recognizance, pending trial.
