Holts Landing State Park boat ramp to close for expansion

A local boat ramp in Delaware, will be closing, for an expansion. Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control says on Monday, the boat ramp at Holts Landing State Park will be closed, for construction of a new double-lane concrete ramp.

The project is expected to last through January 2016. The parking lot will also be closed while the new ramp is being built. Officials say boaters who regularly use the Holts Landing ramp may opt to use the Indian River Inlet Marina boat ramp, located approximately 13 miles east in Delaware Seashore State Park on the Indian River Bay.
